Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has stressed the need to end the Turkish regime's aggression on Syrian territory and abide by the basic principles of international law on human rights.
Zarif pointed out in a tweet published today on his page on the social networking site Twitter, according to IRNA news agency reported the need to fully comply with all the basic principles of international law on human rights, stressing the need to avoid targeting civilians.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said during a press conference yesterday that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory is unacceptable and destabilizing the region, stressing the need for everyone to respect the unity and sovereignty of Syrian territories and to preserve the Astana track because it is the best to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
In a tweet, Zarif reiterated his call for the heads of state of the region to join Iran's initiative to promote peace and stability in the region.
