Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced his candidacy for the 2020 US presidential election.
"I will run for president to defeat Donald Trump and rebuild America," Bloomberg, 77, a Democrat, said in a statement. "We cannot afford President Trump's reckless and immoral actions for another four years."
The former US Vice President Joe Biden, who leads the list of presidential candidates for the Democratic Party of 2020 confirmed recently that Trump is not fit to lead the US armed forces.
