Damascus Governorate today completed the asphalting works of Kiwan Road, which extends from Tishreen Bridge towards Umayyad Square and parking cavities within the sidewalk as part of its service plan.

The director of maintenance in Damascus Governorate, Mohammad Hamamiya, told SANA that the area of ​​the road, which was pitched about 15 thousand square meters, required two thousand tons of asphalt, with a length of 1,200 meters and a width of 9 to 11 meters. From Tishreen Bridge to the Umayyad Square.

Hamamiya pointed out that the Directorate's workshops are asphalting roads in the dumping of thorns and the restoration of asphalt in the Mezzeh Jabal neighborhood, in addition to continuing the work of opening the road from Abbasid Square to the Central Workshop in Jobar.
