British police report an incident on the London Bridge

London (CNN) - Police said they are dealing with an incident on the London Bridge, in the center of the British capital.

Images and videos on social networks show emergency vehicles on the bridge, and spectators, including a BBC journalist, reported hearing what sounded like shots on the scene.

The police service told CNN that it is dealing with a "dynamic situation."
