The US ban on satellite communications is a flagrant violation of the text of the International Convention on Maritime Action and Human Rights, leading to increased stress and psychological stress on seafarers, Fars News Agency quoted Rastad as saying during a meeting with IMO Secretary General Kitak Lim.
