Hundreds of recruits arrived at the IDF absorption and sorting base at Tel Hashomer last night and officially began their military service in Givati ​​and Golani divisions, as full-fledged soldiers. They parted at the gate of their tearful families and joined the call chain, eventually leaving for the training bases to start the recruits.

Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi also arrived at the Tel Hashomer base and toured with the brigadier commanders and ACA chief Moti Alamuz on the recruits' platoon and the chain.

He met with the new recruits and talked to them. "The State of Israel should pay tribute to everyone who serves in the IDF, and the State of Israel should pay tribute to everyone who participates in its defense. The November 2019 recruits that began recruiting Givati ​​and Golani fighters will continue today with the armor fighters being recruited. The new fighters will reach the three regular brigades of the Corps - 401, 188 and 7. Currently, the 188th Division is completing the carriage tank 4, so its enlisted fighters are expected to serve in the world's most advanced tank.

Later this week, combat engineering fighters, crossing fighters, Kfir, Nahal and the Border Patrol will be recruited.
