Kim threatened that the world would envision new strategic weapons in the near future and announced that his country would continue to develop nuclear weapons to deter the United States. He said the scope and depth of nuclear weapons depends on Washington's future approach.
Pyongyang has repeatedly asked Washington to stand by its deadline and make a new proposal for the disagreement between the countries on North Korea's nuclear program.
