What happened, Pont Royal (I), when New Years Eve was in full swing?
It was not quite one in the morning this Wednesday when police and firefighters, alerted that a man had just fallen from the bridge and were lying several meters below, on the bank on the Tuileries side, arrived on the scene.
In cardiopulmonary arrest, the man is immediately taken care of by the firefighters and the Samu who try everything to revive him, in vain.
The death of the unknown was declared at 1:27 am. The circumstances, probably accidental, are still unknown, and the investigation was entrusted to the police station of the 1st arrondissement.
