Tehran-Sana
Today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the German Chargé d'Affairs to Tehran, against the backdrop of statements by German officials in support of the American aggression that led to the martyrdom of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their comrades.
"The martyr Soleimani was enjoying regional and international respect as a hero in the fight against terrorism, and based on that, such unilateral and rejected positions contradict the foundations of traditional cooperation between the two countries, as well as stability and security in the region," the IRNA news agency quoted the head of the ministry's second circle for Western Europe.
In turn, the German Chargé d'Affaires confirmed that he would transfer this position to his country's government immediately.
The spokesman for the Iraqi Popular Mobilization announced yesterday dawn yesterday the death of Lieutenant General Soleimani and the engineer due to an American missile attack that targeted their car after they left Baghdad Airport.
