From 13 thirteen Arab countries, teachers and educators came to Damascus to exchange experiences and expertise, discuss educational and professional issues, and confirm their solidarity with Syria in its war against terrorism.

Sanaa monitored the opinions of a number of participants, where the Secretary General of the National Union for Education Workers in Algeria, Farhat Shakhb, emphasized the role of the National Conference in unifying the struggle of Arab teachers, learning about the experiences of Arab countries, unifying their curricula, discussing professional problems, proposing appropriate solutions to them, and electing a new leadership for the union for a period of four years.

In turn, a member of the National Bureau of the National Syndicate of Education in Morocco, Said Miftahi, pointed out that the conference is a station to find out the weaknesses in the Arab educational field to overcome them and the strengths of consolidation, stressing at the same time the solidarity of the Moroccan people with the Syrian people in the face of what is being exposed to his country that "defends the Arab peoples From the ocean to the bay. ”

Saed Fouad Al-Ruzaiqat, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Teachers Union, pointed out that teachers are the ones who can change ideas that are alien to our Arab societies and cultivate the meaning of belonging in the minds and conscience of generations.

From Libya, the President of the General Union of Arab Students, Ahmed Mubarak Al-Shater, considered that Arab teachers stand in the front trenches to confront global imperialism and Zionism by fighting the takfirist ideology that their tools carry from terrorists.

From Egypt, a member of the Teachers Syndicate, Yasser Arafat Al-Arabi, affirmed that Syria is the beating heart of Arabism, stressing that the Egyptian people stand by the Syrian people in the face of what is being exposed to it.

For his part, the member of the National Union of Mauritanian Education Workers, Jacob Ashour, said: For the second time, I visit Syria, and every time I find the picture brighter and I find the true image of Syria that every free Arab Abi is searching for, considering that Syria represents the last castles of the Arab steadfastness.

As El-Nen Yaqoubi, a member of the National Federation of Mauritanian Education Workers, said, “We came to participate alongside the Arab brothers in supporting our brothers in Syria, supporting the forces of truth and resistance, and defeating the forces of darkness and evil.”

From Sudan, Shihab Al-Mahi, Secretary General of the General Professional Union for Teachers, pointed out that the conference is an opportunity to discuss many educational and professional issues that push the educational process forward.

Yassin Abdel-Sabour Mohamed, captain of Aswan’s teachers in Egypt, pointed out that the conference is an opportunity to see what is happening in Syria and convey the true image of it to the world.

From Iraq, Abbas Kazem Al Sudani, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab Teachers Union, expressed his hope that this year will be the year of decisiveness and the great victory of Syria over terrorism.

For his part, Salim Grace, an assistant general clerk from the Teachers Union in Tunisia, said that his participation and his colleagues in the conference came within the framework of their support for liberation issues in the world and support for Syria and Palestine, pointing to the importance of seeking to develop a unified Arab curriculum and starting from Syria.

The activities of the conference started today in Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus under the slogan "Resilience and resistance strengthens the role of Arab teachers in protecting the national identity to face challenges until liberation and victory" with the participation of delegations from 13 Arab countries.
