"Iran has become much more dangerous"

Meanwhile, the Washington Post has published a comprehensive analysis claiming that Iran has significantly improved its missile capabilities and is now a significant weapon on the battlefield.

The paper quoted experts who claimed that Iran's missiles had gone from being "a tool designed to deter and cause psychological damage" to "real weapons on the battlefield that can defeat short systems."

According to the Washington Post, the change began a decade ago as Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei has directed the development effort from air defense and air force to a precise missile array.

The result is a series of short- and medium-range missiles capable of hitting a range of individual meters from a defined target. It is alleged that the attack carried out by Iran in Saudi Arabia only sharpens the insight that Iran has become a much more dangerous player due to the new missile system.
