"Soon his body systems collapsed": A 70-year-old man died of flu complications
The man arrived at Soroka Hospital with symptoms of the disease and received medical treatment but his body collapsed shortly after his death. Three hospitalized patients who are diagnosed with influenza in the ICU are still hospitalized. As a result, the number of victims in the current wave has risen to 18

Photo: Yotam Ronen, Editor: Amit SimchaA 70-year-old man died this morning (Thursday) at Soroka Hospital from Complications of Influenza Disease. The man came with symptoms of the disease and the hospital was told that "within a short period of time his body systems suddenly collapsed, despite the medical treatment he received." Soroka Medical Center currently has three patients diagnosed with severe flu in intensive care units.
