The company's general manager, Engineer Anwar Okleh, explained in a statement to a SANA reporter that the employees of the company are working at their highest capacity with the aim of ensuring the delivery of electrical service to the people of the governorate, addressing any technical malfunction on networks and transfer centers, and facing any emergency due to weather conditions.

According to Ikoula, the company was able during the past year to rehabilitate and maintain 732 electrical transmission centers, 105 kilometers from the low-line network and 28 kilometers from the 20 KV air lines, and repair 3112 different electrical breakdowns within the cities of Hasaka, Qamishli and their countryside, in addition to replacing more than 240 wooden electrical columns and associated electrical networks It is affected by agricultural crops fires during the harvest of wheat and barley crops.

The aggression of the Turkish regime and its mercenaries on the northern governorate countryside during last October resulted in major damage to power stations and transmission centers and electrical networks, as the company intensified its efforts to repair the damage at a maximum speed despite the seriousness of the place and the difficulty of accessing it.

Ikoula stated that the aggression of the Turkish regime targeted the Ras Al-Ain electricity transmission station and the feeder lines to it and the carrier from it, which led to the exit of the Alouk water station from service, where the electricity company worked on supplying the electric generating sets, linking the Aluk water station to the Al Darbasiyah power station and repairing the 66 kV link. Between Amouda and Al-Durbasiyah substation stations, indicating that the workers were also able to maintain the lines of the North Qamishli transformation station and an electrical current within the station square and repair the 66 kV line linking the Qahtaniyah transfer station and North Qamishli station, all of which were damaged by the Turkish aggression.

With regard to the maintenance of electrical networks in rural areas that were damaged by the attacks of terrorists who stole warehouses and mechanisms before they were destroyed from the governorate, Okla said that the technical workshops of the company rehabilitated and maintained many networks and delivered electrical services to the people after a break of years, including the delivery of electricity to a slumped area and villages Surrounding it during the past month, which is more than 100 km from the city of Al-Hasakah.

Concerning the company’s plan for the new year, Okla explained that one of the company’s priorities is to restore the Mabrouka-Tishrin line to service and maintain the damage caused to him as a result of the attacks of the Turkish regime and his exit from the service as he was feeding the governorate approximately 80 megawatt hours and previously contributed to the stability of the electrical situation in the province in addition to Work on maintaining 66 kV lines located in the areas of Mabrouka, Ras Al-Ain and Al-Darbasiyah, and continue to maintain electrical networks in remote countryside.

Ikoula called for the necessity of assisting the public and private sectors of the electricity company by paying what debts they owed as a result of renting electric energy that exceeds 13 billion Syrian pounds in order to provide financial liquidity through which it can purchase and secure spare parts and equipment for maintenance and improve the reality of the electrical current.

Al-Hasakah Governorate is currently fed by electric power through the quantities produced by the Swedish 50 MW generating facility and the quantities received via the 85 MW layer-gatekeeper line.
