In an interview that Di Giovanni gave to the newspaper that belongs to the Vatican, L'Osservatore Romano, and that Vatican News reproduces, he said: “The Holy Father has made an innovative decision, certainly, which, beyond my person, represents a sign of attention towards women. But responsibility is linked to the task, rather than being a woman. ”
