A Maryland district judge has temporarily suspended, in the absence of a firm verdict, the order of the president, Donald Trump, which allowed states, counties and cities to reject if the arrival of new refugees deemed it appropriate.
The magistrate considers that this measure "is arbitrary and capricious", and has a hidden bias, in addition to invading the powers of Congress, as the Washington Post has advanced.
Texas has been the first state to use Trump's permission to deny settlement to new refugees.
