The terrorist, a minor about 14, was convicted of murder and the military court sentenced him to only 35 years. This decision was appealed to the Military Court of Appeal.
Advocate Haim Blicher of the family-sponsored Khunnu organization welcomed the verdict: "I welcome the important verdict, which is an important precedent for every terrorist to be punished in its entirety, regardless of any mitigating circumstances. A killer is a killer - and must give full justice even if he is a minor. Well, that's how the court ruled. The arrival of members of the slain family has helped to give the proper punishment. On this occasion, we reiterate the urgent call to amend the law so that terrorists under the age of 14 can be punished as well.
