Likud Secretary-General approves Wednesday: MK Gadi Jibrakan, who wore a blue paintbrush, will be ranked 20 on the list for the upcoming Knesset elections. Earlier today, MK Blue Benny Gantz's party announced his ouster "Yarkan follows reports of contacts between him and the Likud party.

In a statement posted by Gantz on Twitter, it reads: "I decided in coordination with MK (bail) Boogie Ya'alon to remove MK Gadi Jibrakan from the blue and white list."

Ya'alon also addressed the issue, and in a tweet, the former defense minister wrote that "in light of his conduct and his behavior that is most indicative of his values, Gadi Jibrakan is ousted from the Talmud party and will no longer be included in the 'Blue and White' list for the 23rd Knesset."

"Israel Today" has learned that in recent months Blue and White have been trying to find ways to prevent the Knesset from defecting, and former Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon has even tried to find a way to promote it on the list. A white-blue official said that in the last 21 days of the 22nd Knesset, "Yibrakan has claimed to Boogie that he is worth three seats and that is more than what Knesset members in his list, Zvika and Orly Froman bring."

The white-blue factor also says that "Boogie called the two Knesset members and asked them to give up their position in favor of Jibran, but both politely refused the insulting request." MK Ya'alon strongly denied the report, and Hauser and Froman refused to comment.

Yabarkan, one of the two Ethiopian Knesset members of the party, had previously held talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the first round of 2019, but ultimately chose not to support Netanyahu. Over the past 24 hours, reports have intensified that the Knesset member and prime minister will meet, apparently leading to Gantz's dramatic announcement.
