Honduras: a new caravan of migrants is prepared 2:27

(CNN Spanish) - Hundreds of Honduran migrants left in a caravan in San Pedro Sula, north of the Central American country, bound for the United States.

CNN spoke with several migrants who said they leave the country due to lack of employment opportunities and insecurity in the country.

A migrant said she leaves six daughters in Honduras, while others traveled with minors.

The purpose of the migrant caravan is to reach the United States where they say they will apply for asylum, although some said that if they did not succeed, they would look for job opportunities in Mexico.

In San Salvador, a small group of migrants met in a city park, they say they will join the caravan of Honduran migrants to try to reach the United States.
