Pictures of burgers in colorful rolls have begun to emerge as mushrooms after the rain on the Instagram Instagram pages in recent days. All of them were labeled the same - Burger Station Restaurant - a new Smash Burger that opened just a few weeks ago right in front of Gate 5 at the revamped Bloomfield Stadium.

The restaurant was opened by restaurateur Younes Usruff, former owner of the Younes restaurant in Tel Aviv and now a real estate man with many properties in the Jaffa area. The inspiration, however, came straight from the United States when the restaurant is based on the famous American hamburger "Shake Shack" and "Pave Gase" .

Like any new culinary trend, we set off on a journalism mission for you, the readers, and tasted the selection of burgers offered by the new venue, which is still running, and these are our impressions.

I'd love to start right from the end. The two burgers we tasted, the beef and lamb, were excellent, both as a meatball and along with other things. However, nowadays to stand out and to talk about you online and on social networks need a gimmick. The gimmick here is the colorful rolls, but let me tell you something - it's not just a gimmick if it works, and works well.

Usruff serves three-color rolls in the restaurant, yellow (turmeric-based), green (spinach-based) and pink (beet-based). All three are handmade quality bun rolls that survive the entire load of meat, cheese, vegetables and sauces that often challenge hamburger rolls and even cause them to fall apart.

The first thing that stood out in the restaurant was the sterility and aesthetic. For a change and different from other places, these are sterile and aesthetic. The place is very clean and all the equipment is modern and it seems as if these moments really came out of the nylon and first connected to electricity. If you sit at the bar you can see that these are probably the newest and most sophisticated devices the market has to offer - a meat grinder and a smoker, an automatic plancha that is designed according to exact operating times according to the client's degree of demand and more. Beyond the beauty and the progress, it is also about time efficiency and shortening the wait for the restaurant's future entry into the shipping world.

And if you already have an investment, then by the end, the restaurant has a selection of sauces and everyone is ready to go. The melted cheddar cheese is generously divided into a la shake shack, spicy and less spicy garlic sauces, "secret" sauce, spicy mayonnaise and more.

We tasted three types of meat. The first was the "burgrati", a burger topped with a purple bean brioche bun roll. Tel Aviv doesn't exactly excel at non-beef burgers, and this is one of the good lamb patties we've tasted. The high-quality rolls and vegetables loaded the bun and indeed at the end of our meal it looked like after a pogrom, but it didn't hurt the experience.

The burgherini serving that followed, a chop of top Angus surgeons, also continued the successful line of the place. A tasty, albeit slightly bland, burger doesn't try to get fancy and mostly blends in nicely with the toppings, with the caramelized onion, vegetables and secret station sauce.

Finally, as a dessert, if you can call it such a dessert, we ate the Maybach, a mix of roasted meats and vegetables in an airy jabeta. It is a very tasty but very aggressive sandwich when what is felt is the rather excessive amount of sauces. improvement required.

Since the place is still running, some of the dishes on the menu are not completely present. Further quality sausages, chicken breasts and more are also expected. On Fridays, a smoky meat festival is planned on the site that will likely attract quite a few visitors. Also, like any new self-respecting Tel Aviv location, Burger Station will also be working very soon with Let Bite and Volt, along with special deals for neighbors from the surrounding office buildings.

And finally, the most important issue, money. Currently, as mentioned, there are still no business and the prices are a little expensive in relation to the market, but in our personal opinion at least, totally worth it. The beef burger, the burger, will cost you about NIS 54. The lamb burger will cost NIS 64 per 200 grams and the chicken burger will cost NIS 48. In exchange for NIS 25, you can get another cut of the same size. The sandwich maker, meat mix will cost about NIS 76. The extras also have an extensive supply: goose / sirloin / smoked asado, which will be in the smoker, will cost about NIS 13. Caramelized onions / spicy peppers / cheddar / avocado or mushrooms will cost about eight shekels, onion rings mix, potato chips and cheddar sauce will cost 28 shekels, regular chips 13 or 18 shekels, and the house potatoes with orange zest for sixteen shekels.
