The tragedy at a school in Coahuila (Mexico), where a child killed a teacher and injured several people before committing suicide, has brought out a dark family history to the extent that Mexican authorities seek to delimit responsibilities for crime.
The 11-year-old boy shot a teacher deadly on January 10 at Colegio Cervantes in the municipality of Torreón, and wounded seven others before taking his own life. This Monday, the grandfather , identified in the Mexican press as José Ángel, 58, was arrested allegedly negligent in the possession of weapons at his home.
The minor used two weapons in the attack , both belonging to the grandfather, who was licensed to own one of them; the other is for the exclusive use of the Army, according to the prosecutor of Coahuila, Gerardo Márquez.
Adrián Alanís, general secretary of the Government of Durango, from where the family originated, said that the child suffered “extremely complex situations” and that the mother was slaughtered a while ago , although the circumstances of his death have not transcended.
Unusual flow of resources
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has frozen grandfather's assets by detecting an irregular flow of resources. Neither the man nor the father of the minor had given tax returns, so now the authorities are examining whether they are involved in money laundering and tax fraud.
"He has received cash flows for 24 million pesos (12 million dollars) in his companies, the acquisition of six luxury vehicles in two years, three MBW, three Jeep Cherokee, in addition to the grandmother, (...) It has three luxury vans, armored vehicles, money transfers to the United States and a problem of tax fraud, ”said Santiago Nieto, head of the FIU.
On Tuesday, journalist Javier Garza Ramos, of Torreón, revealed on his Twitter account that the father of the minor , also identified as José Angel, 35, was imprisoned in the United States and was deported in October last year from Texas, allegedly for drug trafficking.

Relive a narcocorrido
According to the digital newspaper However, after the crime has revived the narcocorrido " El Pollo Ramos y El Payán ", sung by Fidel Rueda. The Chicken would be the nickname of the father of the minor.
The song elogiously describes some traits of the life of drug traffickers ("gold super-plating", "troca [trucks] of the year", "women on the one hand").

In Mexico, one of the countries with the highest homicide rates, school shootings are unusual.
Three years ago in Monterrey, Nuevo León, a teenager shot at his classmates at the Northeastern American College and killed a teacher.
In 2014 in the State of Mexico, a high school student shot another with whom he had a dispute.
