A father of four died in Arizona when he crossed the street near 49th and Glendale avenues on Saturday night. The driver fled the scene.
Carlos Chavez Aguierre, who was walking with his 17-year-old daughter, pushed her to avoid being hit by the vehicle. Both were taken to a hospital in the city of Glendale where Chavez, 39, died of the serious injuries suffered and the minor was treated for a broken collarbone.
The Glendale Police Department has asked for citizen collaboration to find the suspect in the outrage that killed the man and wounded his daughter and fled the scene of the tragedy in a 2003 Chevrolet-Silver Chevrolet pickup truck from dark brown to 2003 and large tires .

The family and older sister, Claudia Chavez, told NBC 9News that they are devastated by the accident that took her brother's life.
"We are holding on, trying to be strong for the children," said Claudia, who related that her brother's quick reaction saved her daughter's life and prevented her from suffering further injuries.
"He has rapid reactions and saw him coming, he was hit and maybe if he didn't push his daughter, I don't know what the story would have been," he added.
"We hope they find the driver, it is not safe for him or her to be out there," Claudia said.
The family has established a GoFundMe page to cover the expenses of Chavez's funeral and the hospitalization of his daughter.
