The United States announced Thursday that it will impose a series of new sanctions on the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency and its head Ali Akbar Salahi.
Alongside the new sanctions, the Trump administration has announced that it will continue to grant sanctions to Chinese, European and Russian companies operating in Iran's nuclear field.

Last month, Iran announced a complete exit from the nuclear agreement with the powers and significant progress in its nuclear program. However, Iran maintains that the country does not want to develop nuclear weapons and all its nuclear activities are for peace.
