Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on the Turkish regime to adhere to the Sochi agreements reached with the Russian side regarding the de-escalation zone in Idlib.
Lavrov said in an interview with the newspaper "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today that the Turkish side did not fulfill "some of the obligations aimed at resolving the problem in Idlib radically", calling on the Turkish regime to implement the agreements on Idlib in an "unconditional and impartial manner".
In another context, Lavrov stressed that the Turkish regime continues the process of transferring hundreds of terrorists and mercenaries from the de-escalation zone in Idlib to Libya and the resulting risks and threats.
Several media reports confirmed that the Turkish regime is sending its mercenaries and terrorists from Syria to Libya to fan the security situation in it and plunder its goods.
