The S-Bahn starts / ends in Moosach. Alternatively, please use the underground lines U2 Feldmoching or U3 Moosach and change accordingly.
S2 Petershausen / Altomünster - Erding: The S-Bahn will be diverted between Obermenzing and Ostbahnhof (long-distance train) and the main route will not be used. The Leuchtenbergring and Berg am Laim stops are no longer required.
S3 Mammendorf: The S-Bahn begins / ends at the Hackerbrücke.
S3 Holzkirchen: The S-Bahn starts / ends in Giesing. Alternatively, you can switch here to the U 2 underground line.
S-Bahn disruption in Munich: The trains are currently running
S4 Geltendorf: The S-Bahn starts / ends at Munich Hbf, platform 27-36. The Hackerbrücke stop is no longer required.
S6 Tutzing: The S-Bahn starts / ends at the Isartor.
S6 Ebersberg: The S-Bahn starts / ends in Trudering. Alternatively, you can switch here to the U 2 underground line.
S7 Wolfratshausen: The S-Bahn trains run without stops between Heimeranplatz and Munich Hbf, platform 5-10. Please use the U 5 underground line to / from Heimeranplatz.
S7 Kreuzstraße: The S-Bahn starts / ends in Giesing. Alternatively, you can switch here to the U 2 underground line.
S8 Herrsching - Airport: The S-Bahn trains are diverted between Pasing and Ostbahnhof (long-distance train) and the main route is not approached. The Leuchtenbergring stop is no longer required.
By the way: DB tickets are also recognized in the MVG's means of transport (subway, bus, tram) for the duration of the disruption.
Severe weather in Munich: Isar level in the urban area rises rapidly
9.35 a.m .: As a result of the heavy rains, the level of the Isar has risen rapidly in recent days. If it was still around 75 centimeters in the city area at the weekend, the flood intelligence service Bavaria had already measured 274 centimeters this morning (9.30 a.m.). Reporting level two is reached at a water height of 3 meters.

8.52 a.m .: Due to weather conditions, traffic in the S-Bahn is also impaired in the Grafing area. The route agent is currently reporting that “significant delays and short-term partial cancellations ” are to be expected. Commuters are particularly hard hit by chaos around Giesingen train station; delays of up to 30 minutes are currently being announced.

S-Bahn Munich: Trees fall over - sections of the road blocked

The Erding - Markt Schwaben section of line S2 is closed due to a tree in the overhead line. The S-Bahn trains coming from Ostbahnhof run to Markt Schwaben and end there prematurely. A replacement rail service between Erding and Markt Schwaben with taxis has already been set up.
“Hurricane-like gusts” have also left their mark in the Freising district. S-Bahn trains on the S1 line from Neufahrn (Freising) currently only run towards the airport after a tree has apparently turned over at Pulling.
