The German Weather Service (DWD) also raised the alarm. In Swabia, Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate, gale gusts threatened up to 120 km / h. Trees were uprooted during the night, one even crashed into a moving car in the Traunstein district . The levels of the rivers also rose due to the heavy rain.

The storm night also caused chaos on the train. There were disruptions in train and rail traffic. The Munich S-Bahn was particularly affected. In the meantime, the situation has calmed down again. But the DWD has already issued new warnings.

Weather in Bavaria: After a storm - German Weather Service warns again

In the south of Bavaria, five circles even have five warnings at the same time. The districts of Berchtesgadener Land, Traunstein, Rosenheim, Miesbach, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are affected. There, light snow (over 600 meters), gusts of wind, storms (over 1500 meters), snow drifts (over 1000 meters) and snowfall (over 1000 meters) are warned at the same time. The warnings are valid until Wednesday evening.

Also in Weilheim-Schongau, Ostallgäu, Oberallgäu and between Passau and Regensburg, there is a risk of snow drifts, gusts of wind and light snow.
