A criminal investigation was opened after a fire occurred Tuesday evening in a nursery school class in Le Havre, we learned from a police source.
The fire started in the early evening in a class at the Lamartine school, near the port of Le Havre. “An intrusion alarm was triggered but, for the moment, we have not found traces of a break-in. On the other hand, a door was open, new investigations will be carried out, " a police source told an AFP correspondent.

“For the moment, the criminal hypothesis is preferred. Someone is suspected of having entered the establishment. The fire went into a classroom where there was no heat source , " said the police source, adding that the school will be closed for a month. In addition to the " degraded " class, the other classes and the dormitory are covered with a layer of soot.
