The United States will donate about $ 100 million to help China and other countries affected by the Corona virus, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Friday (Friday). The U.S. government will donate the money through various funds and through aid organizations.
Pompeo said, "This commitment - along with the hundreds of millions generously donated by the US private sector - demonstrates strong American leadership in response to the virus outbreak."
Meanwhile, US Vice President Mike Pence says that in his view China has shown a level of transparency beyond all expectations regarding the Corona virus. He said the danger posed to the United States from the outbreak of the virus is very low.
