A 55-year-old man was killed this morning in the town of Villa Gobernador Gálvez, in the south of the Gran Rosario, an episode that brings the number of crimes recorded in this jurisdiction to 25 during 2020.
José Luis Franco was found in his home by a family member during the early morning. The body had multiple wounds . At the entrance of the house were found pods caliber 9 mm.
Investigators confirmed that property income was not violated, so it is estimated that someone the victim knew could have entered.
Franco's relatives cited as an antecedent an old-fashioned dispute that the victim had with a person who was in prison. At the moment there are no detainees and prosecutors did not anticipate possible hypotheses about the reasons for the attack.
It is the third crime that occurs in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, a city that last year had a higher homicide rate than Rosario: 16.10 homicides per 100 thousand inhabitants against 13.32. The first occurred during a family dispute in which a boy stabbed his father to death. The second was a femicide.
