Munich - In a failed experiment with a chemistry kit , three people were injured in Großhadern on Saturday evening (8.2.). As the fire brigade reports, an unknown cause caused a fire on the first floor of a single-family house when handling the construction kit.

A 13-year-old boy's clothes caught fire from the fire . When the parents noticed the misfortune , the boy was already running down the stairs to the ground floor. The parents immediately undressed their son. Both burn injuries on the hands.

The fire had already extinguished when the emergency services arrived. The ambulance looked after the parents , while the pediatrician took care of the seriously injured boy. Both the parents and the adolescent have been transported to Munich clinics for further treatment.

Finally, the fire brigade checked the affected area with a thermal imaging camera and extracted it with a high-performance fan, the fire department continued.
The 18-year-old brother , who was also in the building, remained unharmed and was able to stay at home. The amount of property damage incurred is unknown. The police commissioner has started the investigation into the accident .
