MK Ben Benny Gantz is apparently very offended by the fact that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not come to the Knesset on Monday to hear the speech he made in the plenary, which he strongly attacked.

In preparation for the Knesset debate, MK Gantz sent a letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu yesterday asking him to participate in the debate. When Netanyahu and most members of his faction ignored the appeal and did not come to the Knesset, Gantz was hurt that he knew he would have to voice his criticism of the prime minister to the empty chairs.

There is a certain amount of justice in his claim that it is precisely Tu B'Shevat, which is not only the Christmas tree, but also the birthday of the Knesset, that only about 40 MKs came to the special meeting, which is a disgrace to the dignity of the legislature.

But Gantz's big mistake was after ending his firm speech against Netanyahu. He announced over the podium that immediately after his speech, he and all his party members would leave for the Gaza Strip to continue sitting there, as well as to meet with the residents of the south.

According to early coordination, as MK Gantz comes down from the booth, members of his faction also began to wear their coats and carry their bags on their way out of the courtroom. They did so demonstratively in the eyes of Defense Minister Naftali Bennett, who made his way from his seat at the government table to the speaker's booth. To respond to Gantz and talk about his conduct with Moshe Ya'alon in Operation Solid Cliff.

Bennett was very surprised to see all MKs of Blue and White flocking out, as did the Chairman of the Session, Deputy Speaker of MK Yaakov Margie (SHS), who said: "Gantz spoke here about the Knesset disgrace - and here he and his friends Bennett took advantage of the situation to punch MKs Gantz and Ya'alon and asked: "Why are you running away?"

Undoubtedly, Gantz has put in a goal for himself today. On the one hand, he condemned and criticized Netanyahu and Likud for disgracing the Knesset and being absent from an important backlash. On the other hand, he himself disrespected the Knesset when, instead of sitting and listening to the defense minister's words and arguing with him, he left the court leaving only a handful of MKs.
