VIDEO - The Secretary of State to the Minister of Economy and Finance was invited to the "Talk Le Figaro".

Invited to the "Talk Le Figaro", the Secretary of State to the Minister of the Economy and Finance, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, paid tribute to the parliamentarians. " They are the linchpin of our government action ," she said. Stressing the importance of their function, she believes that the meeting between the president and the deputies which is held today at the Élysée Palace is "an important moment" because their role is fundamental. " They are the ones who carried out all of these reforms that we have carried out, " said the minister. If the time is not on the balance sheet, she nevertheless wishes to cite several actions undertaken by the government, such as " the reforms of the SNCF, the civil service, apprenticeship and vocational training, the right to the error for individuals and businesses etc. ".

The atmosphere is however not looking good in the ranks of the majority, and especially since the rejection of a bill on the extension of parental leave in the event of the death of a child. Present in the Hemicycle on the day of the discussions, Agnès Pannier-Runacher returned to the " violence with which the oppositions took the floor to ," she testified, " pounding on the lack of humanity of the deputies". Scandalized by the words, she denounces " a certain obscenity with which some have raised the subject in pin ", before adding that "it bordered on indecency".

To make things very clear, and to ward off criticism, Pannier-Runacher puts the dots on the "i": " This majority, we rely on it, we have denounced a lot of boots, and now we talk about slingers " , she gets annoyed. " Quite simply, this is the democratic debate ," she summarizes, adding that for many deputies from civil society, this is the " first political engagement ". So are all marching behind the president? The quadra recalls that it is "completely normal" that there are various sensitivities within the majority. Pounding again and again the principle of " democratic debate ", she assures that " most of this majority " is behind the president's project.

To meet the presidential commitment and the timetable, parliamentary work on pension reform is continuing. On this point, the Secretary of State points out how " certain oppositions " have spilled thousands of amendments. " It makes no sense , she protests, it's worse than obstruction, it kills parliamentary debate ." Due to lack of time, the bill will revert to the initial state proposed by the executive. " It is contrary to the concept of democracy, " said the minister.

Has the executive shown amateurism and lack of preparation? “When we arrived with tied up editorial staff, we were objected that we had not concerted.” Conversely, she denounces with a touch of irony, “when we propose elements subject to concertation , we are told that our project is not finalized ”.
