The Iranian embassy in Damascus held a reception on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus.
Turk Abadi said: "Iran shares its victories with the Syrian brothers, the Syrian Arab Army, led by President Bashar al-Assad, who, with his wisdom and resolve, managed to lead Syria in this historic stage towards safety and victory over terrorism and against those who tried to undermine Syria and its sovereignty or its constants."
Turk Abadi said that the Islamic revolution in Iran is the beginning of a new stage in the process of civilization construction, noting that Iran has preserved its independence with the efforts of its children and has committed to confronting terrorism that has ravaged the countries of the region and the world at large.
Al-Miqdad pointed out that the Iranian Islamic revolution came to change the scales not only in the region but also in the whole world and lay down real foundations for the victory of peoples fighting for their freedom, sovereignty and independence, pointing out that Syria was one of the first countries to welcome its victory.
The ceremony was attended by Speaker of the People's Assembly Hamouda Sabbagh, Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis, Vice President of the National Progressive Front, Major General Muhammad Al-Shaar, Ministers of Endowments, Health, Oil, Mineral Resources, Electricity, Economy and Foreign Trade, a number of members of the central leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Dr. Ayman Sousan and a number of governors The party secretaries, party leaders, members of the People's Assembly, ambassadors, representatives of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Damascus, representatives of the Palestinian factions, and economic, religious, cultural, and media activities.
