Two residents have been diagnosed with the new type of coronavirus (commonly known as "Wuhan pneumonia") at Kangmei Building, Changkang Village, Tsing Yi. Since yesterday (10th) night, there have been a large number of police officers wearing protective clothing and staff of the Department of Health. In the building, assist residents in Room 07 of A-wing to evacuate to the quarantine center.

Until 6 am today, a reporter from "Hong Kong 01" visually observed at the scene that at least 3 fire department ambulances and 7 government minibuses departed from Kangmei Building. It is known that the ambulance is used to pick up and take care of residents who are unwell, to go to the hospital for medical treatment, and to check up at the hospital.

There are only a few people on some minibuses, and there are almost full on some minibuses. As for Tsing Yi at 6 in the morning, the sky has not yet dawned. The reporter visually observed that there were several A-wings, Room 07, and the lights were still on, while the police still opened a blockade line at the mall. The minibuses of the government took residents to four designated quarantine centers. It is reported that the main one is Rao Zongyi Cultural Center, which is adjacent to Mei Foo.

Until about 6:50 in the morning, the police withdrew the blockade and the Kangmei Building was unsealed, allowing residents to enter and leave freely. The lift lobby of Kangmei Building is affixed with a circular issued by the Housing Department on January 31, informing residents that the building has confirmed the diagnosis of the new coronavirus; the elevator buttons on each floor are affixed with a film and marked "timed disinfection" ; And a notice saying "This floor has been cleaned and cleaned" is posted next to it.
