Ozkur Ozal, deputy head of the opposition Turkish Republican People's Party, reiterated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was “a liar and involved in supporting terrorist organizations in Syria.”
Ozal said in a statement today that "Erdogan is lying to the Turkish people and hiding the truth regarding his involvement in Idlib, which contains dozens of terrorists."
The opposition Turkish Republican People's Party had called on the Turkish parliament to hold a private secret session to discuss the recent developments in the Syrian province of Idlib and Erdogan's failure to fulfill his pledges regarding the Sochi agreement with Russia on the "de-escalation zone" in Idlib.
In its memorandum addressed to the Turkish Parliament presidency, the party pointed out that the Turkish regime's lack of commitment to its obligations complicated the situation in Idlib and the control of the terrorist organization al-Nusra, which is an extension of the terrorist organization al-Qaeda in Idlib and its vicinity.
