The local election campaign in Wartenberg leads to intense discussions about the use of the organs of the market. It was not the first time in the market council that events of one party for local elections were published in the official gazette. However, publication was prevented by other parties.

In fact, in other municipalities in the administrative community, this practice of printing parties' events for local elections in the official gazette had led to considerable upset.
There was less agreement regarding the use of the hall in the old school building for the event on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the runway resistance at Munich Airport. Carla Marx (Neue Mitte) was very upset, spoke of a political event, and with a clear focus. It was because of the fact that practically all the speakers at this event belonged to a very specific party. In addition, a video recording of a Munich representative of this party was shown. That is not possible. The decision was clear.
However, this did not go down well with many other members of the committee. Michael Paulini (SPD), who had also been there, made it clear that the only topic was the third runway. Not a single speaker has stirred the drum for his party. This also applies to the video recording from Munich.
No decisions on this topic were made at the market council meeting. However, it could now be that the panel will have to deal with the allocation of the hall in future for events that have a political character. It was also discussed on this occasion that everyone on the committee rejected the third runway and that banners were sometimes attached to buildings on the market.
