A criminal died on Wednesday after shooting with a man who assaulted the exit of a bank in the Buenos Aires town of Adrogué, Admiral Brown's party, while other accomplices escaped, judicial sources reported.
The incident occurred this afternoon, a few meters from the intersection of Amenedo Street and Espora Avenue, in the heart of that town in the south of Greater Buenos Aires.
Judicial sources informed Télam that a man who had just left a bank in the area was approached by several armed criminals and with the intention of robbing him.
Faced with this situation, the victim of the assault defended himself with a firearm of his own and there was a shooting in which one of the criminals died at the scene , the informants said.
"There were quite a few shots ," a source of the investigation told Télam. After the armed confrontation, the other assailants escaped the place.
The prosecutor María Laura Alfaro, of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 11 of the Lomas de Zamora Judicial Department, worked at the crime scene this afternoon.
