Formula 1 announced that the Chinese Grand Prix, originally scheduled to be held in Shanghai on April 19, 2020, was postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus. The postponement occurs after a request from the promoter of the race, Juss Sports Group, as well as the Shanghai Sports Administration and Motorcycle Sports of the People's Republic of China (CAMF).
