Opening closed roads with snow in Lattakia and Tartous governorates

The technical services directorates in Lattakia and Tartous governorates are working to isolate roads in the axes of areas that have experienced snowfalls, to open them to vehicles and road users.

Technical Services Director, Wael Al-Jurdi, told a SANA reporter that the Directorate distributed several mechanisms within the town of Slanfeh, including Turksat and Kreider, to open roads that caused snow to close to Qirdaha and the broadcasting station, and within Slanfah towns.

Al-Jurdi pointed out that mechanisms have been put in place by the Agricultural Directorate, the Land Reclamation Project and the Military Housing Branch on other axes and at the disposal of the Qirdaha District Directorate and the district directorates.

In Tartous Governorate, Director of Technical Services, Tartous, Eng. Ali Rustom, told a correspondent to SANA that the technical workshops in coordination with the district directors in Baniyas, Al-Qaddous, Al-Duraikish and Safita continued their work for the second day by isolating the snow-covered roads in the governorate countryside, stressing that no road had been closed until the moment.

He pointed out that the methods that the workshops worked on were the way of Ain al-Jash Masiyat, the road to numbering in Bermat Al-Mashaykh, the road of Sebat Safita and insight of the inventory.
