At 14.05, the first maxi beam of the new viaduct on the Polcevera arrived at high altitude, between piles 8 and 9. The launching operation, carried out by the workers and technicians of PerGenova, and carried out thanks to the use of powerful hydraulic jacks called strand jacks, brought 2,000 tons of steel to 40 meters high. It was the first 'launch' on site for one of the three maxi beams planned for 100 meters. Now half of the bridge is mounted and visible, 500 on the planned 1,067 meters, 350 meters already on the west side.
