(CNN Spanish) - According to CNN sources from Berry Producciones, a producer representing the Spanish singer Joaquin Sabina, the artist was admitted to the Ruber Clinic in Madrid on Wednesday and underwent an operation due to a stroke caused by the aparatosa Fall suffered at a concert.
Although the protocol is entered in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the center, they report that the operation was a success and that the singer is stable.
From the Clinic they have not given more details, they say they will only give them if the family environment of the singer so requests.

Other videos show that Sabina reappears on stage moments later, sitting in a wheelchair, to explain that she regrets having to cancel the concert because she has to go to the hospital to have her injured shoulder checked. "I've had a very strong blow to the shoulder, it hurts a lot and it makes us have to suspend," Sabina told his followers who fired him with applause.
Just this Wednesday the renowned singer-songwriter celebrated his 71st birthday.
