The Dachau music summer is going to be colorful. From Bavarian gypsy parties to German indie rock to psychedelic funk, everything is on offer when Django 3000, Thees Uhlmann and Khruangbin come to Rathausplatz.

Dachau - Let's go with Khruangbin on Monday, June 15th. The instrumental trio from Texas is one of the bands of the hour. The sounds of Khruangbin are deeply rooted in world music, enriched with soul, dub and psychedelia. While the band's 2015 debut "The Universe Smiles Upon You" was still very much influenced by Thai funk of the 60s, their second album "Con Todo El Mundo" (2018) is also inspired by undiscovered funk and soul from South America and the Middle East , With warm, varied guitar playing, sometimes prancing, sometimes heavy bass and casual dub beats, they create a Tarantino soundtrack between cool surf rock and psychedelic Thai funk.

Django 3000 and Matakustix arrive on Friday June 26th. After seven years of permanent party, success albums and the nationwide triumph of their hits, Django 3000's fifth studio album "Django 4000" was released in 2019. The result is a turbulent, gripping and stirring record. With music that comes across as rockier than before - and yet never denies the roots of the Free State Gitanos. In 2020 singer Kamil Müller, violinist Florian Starflinger, drummer Jan-Philipp Wiesmann and bassist Korbinian Kugler will continue the tour to the new album.

Also in Dachau are Matakustix, the Austrian whiz kid from the Dachau sister city of Klagenfurt. The three-piece band already fills large halls in Carinthia with their alternative folk music, which combines dialect and English, accordion and beatbox, tradition and pop at the highest level.

On Saturday, June 27th, Thees Uhlmann and Matze Rossi will finally be honored in Dachau. Thees Uhlmann, front man of Tomte until the dissolution of the band in 2012, released his third solo album "Junkies and Scientologists" in 2019. As with the previous album, he made it to number 2 on the German album charts. The singer-songwriter Matze Rossi comes to the Dachau music summer with Uhlmann and his band. An evening with the best that German indie rock currently has to offer awaits visitors to Dachau's Rathausplatz.

Tickets for all three concerts are now available for 25 euros for Django 3000 and 30 euros for Khruangbin and Thees Uhlmann plus advance booking fee from all Munich Ticket sales offices - for example at the tourist information office in the city of Dachau.

The dates for jazz in all streets on Friday, May 29th, and the baroque picnic on Friday, July 24th, have also already been set.
