(CNN Spanish) - Joaquin Sabina's 71st birthday has ended in a hospital.

The fall of the Spanish singer-songwriter during a concert in Madrid, together with Joan Manuel Serrat, has ended in what doctors call intracranial hematoma: blood was accumulated in the brain by the blow.

After having been operated, doctors say that "their stable situation" and that the next 48 hours will be decisive.

And everywhere, people who love Sabina await their speedy recovery.

After Facundo Cabral and Nicanor Parra, Sabina is the most crazy artist we have left in Latin America.

Some sing his songs and others pray for him. And in the meantime, someone who knows him well has said that the troubadour has not always gotten along with God; but as far as I know, a prayer never hurt anyone.

Get up and go Sabina, that we are very fair to good people and still selling those pills out there so as not to dream how much damage they do.

Please remember that there are at least one hundred lies so as not to cut our veins. And forgive me if I get cheesy.

Get up and go. That we are running late ... to all.

Joaquin Sabina
