Unterweikertshofen - Around 60 visitors from Unterweikertshofen, Langengern and Guggenberg not only closely followed the report of the community leader, but some of their questions also referred to the statement.
Traffic and parking
It started with Josef Grüner. He complained that the sidewalk on Sittenbacher Straße (Kirchweg) in Unterweikertshofen had bumps and was generally in poor condition. This is already being examined as part of a development plan, said the municipality chief. Grüner also found that some streets in Guggenberg-West are confusing, especially at the exits to the state road. "You can't see the cyclists," he said, and therefore asked for a traffic mirror. The administration wants to take a look at this first and add a mirror as a point for the upcoming traffic show.
Uschi Horsten raised the issue of the dirt road between Unterweikertshofen and Guggenberg. The traffic on this unpaved road is very high - especially due to vehicles from various parcel deliverers. "If this dirt road is designated as a public road, is a pavement planned?", She wanted to know about the many potholes and suggested that the dirt road might even be blocked. The mayor wants to have the status of this route checked.
Ernst Suppmair gave his opinion on the Tempo 60 signage on the municipal road between Unterweikertshofen and Langengern. The route is curvy and confusing. “So the signs are rightly there, even if no one adheres to them. Neither do I, ”said Suppmair. In addition, signs pointing to a construction site exit should be attached in both directions. Currently there is only one sign coming from Langengern. That should now be set up later.
In general, there was a discussion afterwards about speed restrictions in kindergartens. However, Christian Blatt pointed out that the distinction between municipal and state roads should be considered. State roads are subject to another restriction regulation. Therefore, a speed reduction could not be easily implemented.
There are also talks about Regina Samaga's question about additional parking spaces at Erdweg S-Bahn station. However, everything depends on the availability of land.
Bürgerfest
Heidi Grünerbel asked about an alternative date for the civic festival. Reason: Too many parties at once. “A week later it's the summer festival of the Erdweg parish association. Why can't you keep the appointment variable? ”Says Grünerbel. Christian Blatt replied that this was deliberately a fixed date, which was decided in consultation with the clubs in order to maintain a certain degree of planning certainty. "What date is left outside of Pentecost holidays and before the Hawaiian festival?" Asked Leaf in turn.

Once again there was resentment about the situation at the Guggenberg recycling center. Josef Lechner saw the trailer container area on the street as a special danger point. Because of the limited space available on the grounds of the recycling center, container collectors and suppliers are forced to disconnect directly on the street. The mayor once again raised concerns that the container yard belonged to the district, but that people had been looking for a more suitable site for the recycling yard for a long time. The aim is to install a transit container space. So far, efforts to make the property available have failed. The required area of around 4000 square meters is not easy to find.
municipality Chronicle
Andreas Suppmair asked about the status of the planned community chronicle. Christian Blatt explained that the submission deadline for the contributions has already expired and the documents are now being viewed. However, no general coordination with everyone involved regarding the layout is planned. Associations that have not yet submitted any reports or documents would be contacted again. The goal of the community is to go to print in 2021.
