Passengers to Aleppo will not have to follow narrow sub-roads from Al-Salamiyah to Archaia and then Khanasir to reach them. The scene changed immediately after the Syrian Arab Army units announced the completion of securing the international road Damascus Aleppo with the liberation of the surrounding areas, which means saving time, effort and cost.

With the army announcing and conducting technical workshops and mechanisms to remove dirt berms and obstacles left by terrorists, transportation companies in the Abbasid garages gradually returned to operate their flights to the city of Aleppo via the International Aleppo-Damascus road, which reflected relief for the drivers and travelers.

SANA monitored the change of scenery from the Abbasid garages, where Muhammad Khabouri of Farah Transport Company stated that the companies started yesterday from scheduling road transport trips on the Damascus-Aleppo International Road after the return of security and safety to it thanks to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army because of the shortening of time, distance and effort on companies Transportation and travelers.

It is not only a matter of shortening the distance and the cost, according to the director of the Prince Transport Company Fayez Al-Masry, but also to protect travelers and drivers from the dangers of the old road due to its narrowness, as it can only accommodate two cars, which caused many traffic accidents on it.

With a simple calculation between Al-Masry, the international route shortened the flight time between 3 and 4 hours, as it needed time ranging from 8 to 9 hours, while today it is possible to reach approximately five hours, indicating that the flights do not stop 24 hours at a rate of 16 flights per day.

With the shortening of time and the road, bookings are increasing daily to Aleppo, according to the ticket clerk at the company, Sami Fakhera, because it is now possible for travelers to reach Aleppo and spend their work, then return to Damascus on the same day.

The increase in reservations also increased the number of daily trips, especially with the provision of fuel and distance, according to Ahmed Dabbas, owner of a transport company.

After returning from his first trip on the international road, the driver, Ali Kaddour, from Sumer, expressed his satisfaction and said: “I felt a big difference and the travel was no longer as hard as the previous way. The old road was semi-agricultural and had to squeeze traffic due to its narrowness.”

Signs of satisfaction seemed clear to travelers as well, especially with the low transport fares in half, as Osama Al-Shyoukhi expressed his joy because the international road will gain him more time also to spend with his family on his short vacation and then return to his military service, while the traveler Bassem Aziz indicated that the relief he feels Today's people of Aleppo is thanks to the sacrifices of the valiant army and its heroics.

The theory of Ismail Ono found in the return of the international road an opportunity to visit its people in Aleppo because the old road required long hours that its sixty years could not afford while Muhammad Radwan Amouri demonstrated the need to carry out maintenance of the road to provide more travel ease.

The technical workshops and mechanisms of the province of Aleppo began mid-February to remove the dirt berms and obstacles that the terrorists had placed on the international road, Aleppo - Damascus. The technical cadres of the Road Transport Ministry of Transport also began a field survey and survey of the damage left by the terrorist organizations on the road and parts of its construction structure in preparation for its reform. It is reopened and put into service after being secured by Syrian Arab Army units.
