Hate attack in Hanau: until recently, the perpetrator still lived in Munich

The Hanau assassin spent longer than previously known in Munich. Was the man possibly influenced by the equally terrible OEZ killing spree?

Munich - Tobias R., who killed ten people in Hanau on Wednesday evening, lived in Munich longer than previously known. From 2013 to 2018 he had an apartment on Eugen-Papst-Strasse in Obermenzing , where he worked as a customer advisor for an online comparison portal and spent part of his free time in a shooting club in Sendlingen .

During his time in Munich, the killing spree at the Olympia shopping center also occurred, in which an 18-year-old killed nine people in July 2016.
