In the end, he will also come to the Knesset

It is quite possible that if "Jewish power" exceeds the percentage of blocking, you will hear unreservedly proclaimed: "Inverter!" But should one wait patiently for election results to do so? In our humble opinion, the upheaval concerning a list of Jewish power is already underway.

Although, according to the polls, Jewish power is unlikely to enter the Knesset. But she already won a Kosher Certificate, after the Central Election Commission allowed her to run. Rabbi Meir Kahana, Itamar Ben Gvir's teacher, did not sign any statement that Ben Gvir is making during the election campaign.

The list is still rooted in the realm of radical ideology. She did not shake off the seal of racism. But here, in the living room of Ben Gvir's house, the picture of Dr. Baruch Goldstein, the murderer of Muslim worshipers in the Cave of the Patriarchs, never again hangs.

But the living room owner's hesitant steps are still not credited to the Knesset ticket. There are not many contracts, as of this writing, that Ben Gvir is approaching the title of "Knesset Member". However, it is permissible to state that he has already accumulated some important credits on the way to the House of Representatives. According to Netanyahu's statements, the number one enemy for Likud rule is Ben Gvir. Likely threats by the Likud that voting on its list means throwing right votes in the bin.

Some say that Ben Gvir's past has thrown significant political lures in exchange for his retirement from the Knesset race. Maybe he was promised a ministerial job? The battle that Netanyahu waged against Ben Gvir is not expressed in the conceptual, principled level, but in the political, purposeful field, signifying the danger of the loss of right-wing rule.

The Likud movement has come a long way since Meir Kahane began his struggle within his Knesset membership. Years ago, as a parliamentary correspondent, I attended the Knesset committee meetings that discussed the dilemma of allowing Kahana to function as one of the MKs. The then Likud MK Michael Eitan was at the forefront of the campaign against him. Kahana's marriage laws, and other legislative proposals, likened them to "Nuremberg Laws," no less. Eitan's booming voice, then MK early in his life, dictated the nature of the atmosphere at the committee's meetings. Whoever was the Speaker of the Knesset, Shlomo Hillel, preached literally to boycott Kahane. And more: The Knesset Cell decided not to review Kahane's parliamentary activities. The result: episodes of Kahane's conceptual doctrine were hidden from the public.

But today, when (politely!) Interviewing murderers, Palestinians or Israelis, a similar boycott decision, as then, would not have been accepted. The student, Ben Gvir, continues the conceptual tradition of Moro, albeit in moderate doses. On the main points, he is not completely undermined. He does not explicitly renounce Dr. Baruch Goldstein's murder; he merely denies, according to him, any similar murder. He does not mention Goldstein's name. We have not forgotten: The title of "Ben Gvir" should be added: "Attorney." In other words, he must act in accordance with Israeli law, which denies racism. It is inevitable that, at the end of a row, sometime in the future, Advocate Ben Gvir could boast another title: MK.
