The male police officer has been temporarily charged with two counts of "ordinary assault", one count of "loitering" and one count of "refusing arrest". The case has appeared in the Eastern Magistracy this (22) morning.
It is understood that in August last year, male police officers repeatedly harassed their ex-girlfriends and were even suspected of assaulting the other party. In September last year, another woman was attacked inside the South Police Base of Shenzhen Bay Road.
Police said that the police attaches great importance to the conduct of personnel, and anyone who commits illegal acts must be dealt with severely. It is understood that the arrested police stationed on Hong Kong Island has been suspended.
