We are the 53rd day of the year and we celebrate Sainte-Isabelle. Born and died in Paris (1225-1270), sister of Saint-Louis, spent her life, single, in a small house near the convent of Longchamp which she had built for the Poor Clares.

The sun rises two minutes earlier at 7:49 a.m. and sets a minute later at 6:20 p.m. The saying: "Snow in Sainte-Isabelle makes the flower more beautiful".
