Washington-Sana
The Pentagon has reaffirmed that the number of its soldiers' injuries has risen to 110 as a result of the Iranian missile strike that targeted the Ain al-Assad base in western Iraq on the eighth of last month in response to the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
A statement issued by the ministry last night and quoted by Agence France-Presse said, "All the wounded were diagnosed with brain concussions," adding that "35 soldiers were transferred to Germany for further evaluation, and later 25 of them were sent to the United States."
On the tenth of this month, the US Department of Defense admitted that 109 of its soldiers were wounded as a result of the Iranian missile strike, which has again been denied to US President Donald Trump, who denied any injuries.
According to observers, Trump's claim that there were no casualties among his forces as a result of the Iranian strike comes in an attempt to absorb the anger of the Americans over his reckless policies toward Tehran by denying first, and then gradually announcing the losses of the American forces.
