The 10th Arab Youth Intellectual Symposium was opened in Beirut, Lebanon, with the participation of delegations from 15 Arab countries, including a delegation from the Revolutionary Youth Union and the National Union of Syrian Students.
Dr. Nidal Ammar, Secretary-General of the Arab Student Union, pointed out in a speech to him that this meeting is an opportunity to emphasize our national constants and the pillars of our Arab unity, pointing to targeting global Zionism and imperialist forces, any form of unity or even coordination between Arab countries.
In turn, a member of the General Secretariat of the Arab National Conference, Adnan Al-Burji, stressed in a speech of the importance of the conference for communication and solidarity between Arab youth and its contribution to the Arab nation’s issues.
For his part, Khalil Al-Khalil, head of the preparatory committee for the symposium and member of the leadership of the Nasserite Popular Organization, pointed out the importance of independent development in the Arab Renaissance project and its necessity to correct the structural defect that our Arab countries suffer from and that the Arab generations pay for.
The symposium was attended by a number of representatives of Palestinian political parties, organizations, unions and factions.
